Can I just say that the Triptico desktop app is one of the best free web 2.0 tools out there. There is such a range of ways the tools on this app can be used in the English classroom, from teaching writing and sentence structure through to text responses. They really are simple tools to do big things in class.

I’m a Hungarian teacher of English. I teach students from age 10-15. Our school has been given 4 interactive boards. I tried to create as many exercises as I could to introduce the board to my pupils. Your Triptico app was very useful for me to achieve my goals. My children enjoy the student selector the best. I can do lots of exercises by the magnet creator.

David, a few days ago I used the ‘Find 10′ tool from your brilliant IWB Toolkit as a warm-up activity for a very special lesson I taught regarding the Maya Civilization. 5th graders from the elementary school in my district came to my 6th grade Social Studies classroom to to get a taste for what my class would be like for them next year. Their elementary teacher team taught with me and the event was also attented by building administrators.

I used ‘Find 10′ to create an interactive prior knowledge-establishing activity that blew everyone in the room away – the kids, their teacher and the administrators. All I did was stick some facts into the sleek and simple to use template and your crisp and almost magical application did the rest, complete with beautiful sound effects.

I ran across an interesting site called Triptico today, which allows one to create and customize a number of useful classroom resources. Among the activities are timers, word magnets, spinners, team scorers, and more.

The Triptico resources are simple to use, attractive, versatile, and work well on both Mac and PC.

My principal just completed my formal observation and was WOWed by your resources. My initial assignment as students came through the door was a word sort using your Venn diagram, them I used your resource to create groups for centers, and then the student selector to manage students as they obtained their center folders from the file. My wife, and fellow teacher, just discovered your app this last week and we are starting to put it to use in our classrooms.

Today I used the student groups app to organize a small group speaking activity. It worked wonderfully. The students were much more responsive. It let me adjust the size and number of the groups on the fly to give more variety.

An online teacher told me about the Word Magnets which he was finding really useful for teaching Talk a Lot vocabulary lessons. But there is much more in the set of 20 different tools, which is offered – amazingly – absolutely free.
