Simple Calculator

A very simple and basic calculator which will hopefully be useful to teachers.

Any ideas for improving this resource – or indeed for any of the resources on the website – are always appreciated.

Very nice tools! I will recommend them to the teachers that I train during professional development.

That’s great news Chris…

I would really appreciate it if you would let me know if you receive any feedback about the tools during your training.

Thanks for posting your comments, David

Would it be hard to get the calculator to follow the BODMAS convention – so that it doesn’t calculate until you press =?

So 1 + 2 x 3 ought to give 7, since you should do the 2 x 3 first…

Thanks Peter,

I’m a bit pushed for time at the moment but will try to revisit the calculator and update it.

It was only really supposed to be a very basic calculator – there is no decimal point button for example – and I am sure that there will be many similar resources on the web which offer increased sophistication.

Thanks for your comments,

David
